Terms of Service

please read before commissioning

Keep in mind that breaking any of my T.o.S. may result in you being added to my blacklist. That means that I will no longer accept any commissions that you might request and you will no longer be allowed to use the already commissioned artwork. If you aren't sure if something is allowed, feel free to ask me.

General ToS

Do's and don'ts✓ Must credit me.

✘You can not profit from the commissioned artwork. (unless commercial fee was paid)
✘ You may not alter the piece without my consent. (E.x. remove the watermark, recolor/redraw parts, etc.)
✘ You may not sell the commissioned artwork.
✘ I do not accept descriptions as character references. (unless design fee is paid)
✘ You may not claim the commissioned piece as your own.
✘ Please, do not rush me. (Sometimes I can't work on commissions every day due to my health/personal life.)

Crediting

Credit is mandatory. Please credit me in any way you can.Where to credit
• Twitch: If using my emotes/art on stream, please mention me in one of the panels or description.
• Twitter/Other social media: If using my art as banner/profile picture, please credit me in the description/bio.
• YouTube: If using my art/emotes on YouTube please mention me in the description of the video/about section on your channel.
• Discord: If using my emotes, please mention me in a channel (#rules, #announcements, or other)How to credit
• Write my name
• Link my Twitter/Instagram/Twitch/VGen_{Credit really helps artists out, it's a way to get our art out there. So I would really appreciate it if you would credit me somewhere if you are using my art. Thank you.}

Process and Revisions

• Waiting time can be everything between a few days and 2-3 months.
_{Depending on what your place is on the list, the size of the order and my health.}
• Please don't rush me, I'm trying my best to work as fast as I can.
• Amount of free revisions: 2. More than 2 requires fee per revision.
• I will show you a sketch before I start the lineart for you to approve.
• And a second one after the lineart and base colors are done.
• If you have previously approved the sketches but you demand changes after I completely finished the piece, I will charge a fee.
• The change fee can be from 3$ up to 20$+ depending on the changes.

Product

• You will get full resolution PNG files via Google Doc link.
• One will have a transparent background and the other will have a white background (does not apply to emotes).
• Both will be watermarked (do not remove the watermark) (does not apply to emotes).
• Prices already include VAT.

Payment

• Payment is 100% upfront.
• I will send you an invoice a day or two before I am able to start sketching.
• I accept PayPal and VGen (accepts VISA, MasterCard, etc).
• Please do not send any payment before I have agreed on your commission.
• If for any reason I am unable to start or finish the commission, I will let you know and you will receive a full refund.

Refunds

• If you demand it after the sketch phase, you will get 80% back.
• If you demand it after the lineart phase, you will get 50% back.
• Everything after the lineart phase will not be refunded.

Changes

• If there is an error that is entirely my fault I will do it for free.
• If there is an error because of bad reference photos, I may or may not fix it (will fee included).
• If you want a minor change (color changes), I will fix it (will include fee).
• If you want a major change (redrawing parts, changing outfit/hairstyle, etc.) I may or may not fix it (will include fee).
• If I think that the changes are too much, I may not change your artwork.

Commercial use

What is commercial use?

• Non-commercial use is for items you will be using on personal accounts such as DA, Facebook, Twitter and other social media/ sites, with credit/acknowledgement that the work was not created by you.• Commercial use is for items you intend to sell or earn income from (merchandise for example).

Fees

• Merchandise - 2x (100%) the price of the total (one time fee)
If you wish to use the art to make and distribute products for profit. Credit is mandatory.• Character Design - 1.5x (50%) the price of the total (one time fee)
If you intent to use the character design for your online persona (ex. Vtuber/your stream persona). Credit is mandatory.
